Youthful Bliss was created to capture the joy and pleasure of childhood. The inspiration for this painting came from an image I saw of a young boy attending my neighborhood's annual Juneteenth celebration. I was initially struck by the brightness of his expression and felt even more delighted knowing his community was the source of his happiness.
